ARD
ARD is an exploration of scent as immaterial space—an invisible architecture that unfolds in time and memory. Neither fixed nor fully graspable, it lingers at the threshold of perception, evoking a descent into the earth, a quiet return to the elements. Composed of natural plant essences, it traces the movement from surface to depth, from distance to closeness—an imprint shaped by the moment, the place, and the person encountering it.
The slow descent into the earth, the air thickens, the light becomes scarce. The prying eyes of surveillance are blinded, the notifications fall silent. Electric blue turns to earthen green, cold plastic to warm soil. Water trickles towards the core, roots extend through the crevices. The world above converges into a small dot. Only the rhythm of a heartbeat, the release of a bated breath.
Notes: soil, herbs, wet roots, moss, fossilized resin
Ingredients: alcohol (ethanol, pure), natural plant essences (essential Oils, absolutes, CO2s, and tinctures)

Developed in parallel with charcoal explorations, ARD emerged through a process of layering—of scent, texture, and atmosphere—each medium informing the other. These drawings, like the scent itself, reflect an unfolding space, a passage between presence and absence.
